Here is a Dobbs Golden Coach I rarely wear because it's 7 1/2 size is a bit big for my 7 1/8-7 1/4 noggin' ... based on what I have read here, my best estimate is that it's from the 1960's.

My Dobbs Twenty, which is likely from the 1950's based on the prevailing wisdom here.

I just picked this dark brown Dobbs 20 up from ebay. The felt is quite thin and easily shaped. It's in perfect condition. This hat is unusual in my vintage collection in that it looks really good with a center dent crease and the brim up (it almost has a homburg-like appearance in that configuration), and it also looks good with a tear drop crease and the brim down. I have no other vintage fedora that looks good both ways, so I was pretty happy that I finally got one like this. It's also interesting that the size tag says 7 1/4 long oval, but the label behind the leather sweatband says 7 1/4 regular oval. It definitely fits like a regular oval.

Found this hat at an antique store recently: a Dobbs Roamer! It's in wonderful shape save for a couple moth bites. Will definitely be wearing it quite a bit once the weather gets a bit cooler!

After looking at the resources on this site and looking at the tags, I think it's from the 50s. I've only been able to find one other example of a Roamer on here, though it seems similar to a cross country from what I've seen. If anyone knows anything about this hat I'd love to hear!

30s Leisure Light I got recently. Very light indeed, and in a light shade of my favorite color; pearl gray. Looks white in these pics, but it’s not.
Has the old Cavanagh Edge stamp.

I knew it was a great, rare 30s piece, thanks to the info you’ve compiled, but other than the obvious: its brand, color, age and Improved Cav Edge, is there anything you can tell us that helps makes this Dobbs a grail hat?
