the new hat ads

I just now noticed the hat company ads on the top line of the threads. Although I usually consider ads to be clutter, in this case I like them. Most of the people cruising this website are interested to buy hats, but where to get them is a big mystery since the 1950s or 1960s. Having myself been purchasing hats for a few years, I know many places, but I do like to see these ads posted as a service to potential hat-buyers. and I can benefit myself from seeing the ones I didn't know about.

Remember, we are much, much more than a "hats" forum. We are the global keepers of the culture of The Greatest Generation. Films, clothes, WWII, music, literature, food, drink, The Great Depression, art, everyday objects, etc. Most of the people who come to The Fedora Lounge are here for things other than hats, actually.
Get out and read around. If you're just reading "Hats," you're missing a lot.
