Just opened a few weeks ago - the first and only real american diner in Denmark. Read all about here: http://www.thedeediner.dk/ Its in english and danish. Thought you yanks would like to know, if you ever come by this way.
Hmm... not so far from my old place, Söndrefasanvej. But Copenhagen also has the ONLY best restaurant in the World! NOMA. B T
Oh yes - forgot about Noma - maybe it's because their waiting list for us mortals is about 6 years from now.
lol so long ago it was, and so very sad that I haven't been back since. went in 95 and 96 when I lived in northern Germany wish I could go back but have no plans to do so right now *sniff*
KBH is one of the nicest cities I have had the pleasure to visit and it was made all the more enjoyable due to the hospitality that Søren and his family afforded us. Cecilie and I still talk about it, we'll be back mate! Plus I got addicted to the smørrebrød from Café Petersborg
KBH is one of my favorite cities... and yes the Danes are wonderful w/o being nauseatingly phony-nice. my friend Charlotte's mother made me a nice birthday cake w/ Danish flags, they owned (maybe still own?) a nice store in Stroeget called 12eren... *sniff* I miss Denmark!
