I was just there!
On my train trip to Albuquerque last summer, I had a 7 hour stop over in Chicago.
Now, I had already planned on visiting the Museum of Science and Industry, for the Indiana Jones exhibit, so when I got there and saw that they had a U-boat, well that was just icing on an already rich cake.
Unfortunately, the U-boat itself was not available for viewing because of the new construction, but they did have the temporary exhibit set up. What really blew me away was the Enigma machine display. I never thought I would ever get to see one of those in person, that was such an amazing experience, and one that I'll never forget.
