Took my hat to the ocean...

Mendocino in the "off season" along the Northern California coast is a spectacular, restful place to "get away". Beautiful grounds and a rugged coast line, topped off at a fine hotel with several wonderful fireplaces to relax by. Yes... I brought my hat to the ocean!
Our first day was wet, and cold, and we got a "taste" of the frigid air which brought record snow to Seattle farther north. Our second day was cool but very nice, dry and sunny...
The hat is a VS (early) in "Fawn" color..and it handled the rain very well.
