Mine as shown here is merely standard wool felt.

I would like to get a taller top hat from Christys',
theirs in the melusine fur, which I have never
learned exactly what that means, except
to surmise that it means polished fur.....

But I may some day, maybe, maybe not, as it is not only expensive,
but as a hat, it's not even especially practical, to say the least,
one can't wear it much, or you'd be taken as a loon!

I don't mean taller than the one I have, it's just a name for a height of top hat, and I meant specifically the one by Christys' made with melusine fur.

My top hat is also of about the same height, and my top hat is called a tall top hat.

If anything I think my top hat is slightly taller than the one from Christys' commonly referred to as a taller top hat.
