Hello, I think you can help me.
1. I've just read Shindeco's post about formalwear and there was written that in 30's black dinner jackets with white trousers and white shoes were worn as warm weather black tie. Maybe you know, what material the trousers should be? Should they have silk stripes on sides? What shoes should be worn? Should they be patent leather?
OK, a lot of questions.
2. This is also about day wear. Are black dress/morning coats more formal than midnight blue dress coats/Oxford gray morning coats?
Thank you very much and best regards, Dr
