Vintage Florentine Straw....

I was watching the beauty for 2 reasons. I thought it was unusually different & it would bring in a few bucks. Well, turns out I was right on both. My question is......even though it's a striking little hat, is it really worth $168.50? Florentine Straw

Also, did one of our loungers happen to snag it?

Brent is the one hat brand I really don't like. They have nice styling, but all the ones I've had have fallen apart.
That being said, it's a nice looking straw, but I don't think it's unusual, either stylistically or brand wise, enough to really warrant that high a price, especially not in February.

Well, I'll have to take your word on that of the brand name "Brent" and how they're made DM, for I don't own 1 and never have. As far as not being unusual, I think it is a bit unusual....it is a tighter weave than I've seen on any other milan, it's not your standard color, the brim is very stingy(looks to have a bound edge even) compared to the fairly high crown, and I think that ribbon treatment is gorgeous and fits the overall look of the hat perfectly. Once again, this is my opinion and that's why we have chocolate and vanilla.....but I agree, I would never had paid that much for it either.
