Made in Hamburg by Werner Roth KG, this jacket dates from 1979. Tagged size 50, which converts to a U.S. size 40 or medium. Features brass buttons, four exterior flapped pockets with snaps, interior center strap with snap closure for a close fit. The lower right-hand pocket has two interior brass clip fasteners with elastic straps (not sure what those are for). Two deep interior pockets (one open, one zipped). Snap-on ribbed wool collar (excellent condition with no rips or holes). The zip-in liner is missing. Both shoulder epaulettes have been removed, along with a left shoulder patch. One snap is missing on the upper right chest pocket. This is not noticeable--an easy fix or your could leave as-is since and you probably wouldn't use this pocket anyway. Likely made from steerhide, which shows nice graining variance in different panels. The leather is nice and supple with no cracks or flaking. This jacket drapes very nicely and would make for nice winter wear over a sweater. Measurements Shoulders: 19.5" Chest: 22" Sleeve: 24" (25.5" following curve) Length from bottom of collar: 29.25" Asking price: $200 includes CONUS shipping.
