Vintage Late 1930s / 1940s Crepe Gown with piping - L

Amazing vintage rare larger size dress from the late 30s to early 40s. Dress is made from black crepe with distinct flowing piped detail on both sides of the front zip placket and across the front of the shoulder area There is a row of smoking under this above the bust. Beautiful puffed sleeves that were do typical of the late 30s with 3/5 sleeves with pin-tuck detailing at the inside elbow. Side snap opening and metal zipper down the front, indicating this is a hostess dress. Darts at the waist in the back. Original self-covered belt and buckle is included which can pull the waist in quite substantially. Beautiful dress is a rare larger but very flattering size in near mint condition that also has a lot of scope to be taken in if needed. Great for swing dancing! *Dress has been clipped to mannequin so please checking sizing.
