I have three pairs of these. I don't know much about Khakis. I know they are not pre war or anything. I don't know if they are army or navy or what. Probably fifties or sixties. They have a talon zipper. The rise is about 14 inches with a zipper that is 10 inches from bottom to top of waist band. thewe will sit nice and high on you waist.

The legs are 23 inches at the knee and 10 inches at the cuff. I guess these are navy khakis from maybe hte fifties or sixties.

They are in great shape, but starched very heavily as you might expect.

They says 33 inches on the tag, but they ameasure more of a 32, with a 32 inch inseam.

I am asking just twenty each or forty five for all three. Plus shipping which will be about four to eight bucks.

Nice khakis! I love the ones that you gave me! Btw, :eek:fftopic: I'm getting those two suits you sold me altered...it's chinese new year here so I should get them back next Friday so I'll post pictures then. The blue-grey 4x1 just needs the shoulders altered (man those pads were huge!) and I'm getting the glen plaid taken up like 3/4"...you were right; they're a bit on the long side. And thanks for the shirt- it's got that nice floppy collar.

Tell them not to cut the fabric so you can let it down if you grow taller. Or if you sell it.

Good fit in the chest and such? Looking forward to seeing pics.

Got a question about the sizing of these khakis.. you state they are 10" at the cuff, is that a measurement of the complete diameter or just one side layed flat (actually equaling 20"), 10" seems real narrow to me. Also, how is the waist being measured? I'm usually a 33" but give or take..I might be able to use these.

Oh, I have another question too, do you think that front crease could be pressed out with out a visible line being left behind from it being press all of this time...or do you think it's permanent?

I consider myself a 32 1/2. When I measure around my waist I got 33. I wear 32 in jeans, and they tend ot be a little loose in the waist. BUt I suspect the jeans companies like gap are oversizing their stuff beyond the stated size. At any rate, the khakis are slightly snug on me so I would say they are 32. If I measure flat, I get 16 from one end to the other. BUt the tag says 33/33. I suppose he could have had them altered in. THere is about 3/4 inch to take out, but that is about it.

the crease would probably not show. They are not very worn at all. If I pull them flat I don't see any white from wear.
You are right. My mistake. They are indeed 19 inches around at the cuff. 9 1/2 across. Those would be some crazy zoot suit khakis if they were only ten.

I do not know how they differ from earlier khakis except for the buttons. They seem to be the same measurements as the standard bill's khakis.
