Hi all - it is a with a heavy heart I must sell my vintage Taubers café jacket. I picked this jacket up approximately 2 months ago. It is marked a size 44, however it fits like a 40 (maybe a tight 42). I'm 6'2" @ 215lbs - it does not fit me.

Asking $400 (includes shipping) anywhere in CONUS. Payment via Paypal "friends style" or add 3% for a Paypal invoice.

Measurements while zipped:

Pit to Pit: 22" (stretched)
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 19"
Shoulder seam to sleeve cuff: 23.5"
Back of collar seam to bottom hem of jacket: 27"

I love this jacket. There is something home-made looking in the way Tauber's did the quilted leather padding, not trying to be ruler sharp or uber-polished, that I appreciate. Unique jacket, cool look.

@ rockabilty I can't believe your Taubers still here. I suggest you measure the sleeves from the neckline over the shoulder seam along the curve of the arm, IMO gives this is the best indication where the cuff will lay when the jacket is worn. I require a pit to pit closer to 23.

The shoulders and chest are just a little too wide and the sleeves are a little too short for me, or else I’d be wearing that jacket proudly.

It’s worth noting that Taubers made a lot of custom jackets, so their sizing can vary quite a bit.
