Exact fabric content isn't specified on that page, but if that anorak is 100% virgin wool at ~19 oz (= 650gsm), then $69 is an excellent price. Let us know what the clothing tag says regarding cloth composition.
Would also be worth investing in a pair of Muck arctic boots at that latitude - they have a great grip on ice & snow and my feet have never once been cold. And don't forget your merino base layers - this Finnish company has good product for decent prices.

Warmest coat I've ever owned is a sherpa lined, wool Mackinaw coat. I'm talking "laying out in the snow, at night, in -20 degree weather trying to get a picture of a lunar eclipse and not feeling a thing" warm. Mine is Whitetails brand.

Looks good and you can't beat the price. I'm not a fan of pull-over outerwear though. I want the option of some venting if I start to heat up from exertion in the field.
I bought a Rascher loden wool hunting jacket last season and it serves me very well in the field. I also wear it around the yard when working the dog or for chores. It's also a nice town coat too.
I love Austrian loden wool. It wears hard, is nearly waterproof and is lightweight with plenty of warmth.

Yes thats a great price if the material is good. I've got a black overhead heavy melton wool hoody that Eat Dust put out a couple of years ago. Its great for cutting out the wind, though its not super warm if you aren't moving about.
Is a pain to get on and off though for sure.

I guess my question is, what are you really looking for here? I know you are from Georgia, when having 10 days in the 20's would consist of a farily dramatic winter. SK probably has 25 days at 20 below, and what part of SK are you located?
Are you looking to work/hike/hunt or travel outside? Your photos suggest you enjoy hunting. Or just between your car and the store, the house, they gym, etc.
Do you mind feeling "any" cold or do you want to feel nothing at all but warmth?
I ask as in Iowa, which is certanily not Canada, we plan for -30F and 40 mph winds as about the worst of it. However most of the time it's 5F - 25F and 15 - 70 mph winds. Especially in the winter
Budget - how much do you want to put out to stay warm?
Frankly, if planning to be out a lot in the weather, and did not care aobut how you look at all, I'd consider a set of Carhartt artic lined bibs first - as many forget that your legs loose a lot of you body heat quickly. Then just get the same thing with an Artic lined coat, lots of styles for sale, nearly impossible to wear these out, I think the Yukon Extremes models are an updgrade.
If you have more cash and want a little nicer gear (but not perhaps any warmer at all) look through Filson's offerings, most still made in USA/Cananda
