Hit the frame shop this past weekend, now to work on the feng shui.
The Bulldogger by Moore Hat Co., Lawton, OK. A 3x6 fedora weight dress Western. Thru trademark registration I have learned the Moore Hat Co. first used the name of the Bulldogger in trade in 1947 & registered it as their trademark in 1950. It was the only trademark ever registered. I have been unable to determine when Moore went out of business but Moore was apparently not bought out as the trademark was allowed to expire in 1992. An educated guess based on two obituaries of former employees of Moore Hat Co is that it closed in the 1960's sometime.
first four are Stetson 100 then a Churchill 100 and a Beaver 125 Resistol
all Stetson 7X Clear
a raw edge and a Open Road
a pair of felted edge
my daily Open Road
Another fantastic lineup. Really nice to see the felted edge hats.
Thank you Vic.
Two best posts ever on the lounge in my opinion.
One could go on and on about each of these hats but the blue 100 and the Resistol 125 do it for me.
Thanks for taking the time and for your generosity, as always.
Amon Carter, Sr. (fourth from right) could throw a "killer" party ...
Sure as Hell hope they checked to make sure that revolver was unloaded, because that looks like an involuntary manslaughter charge waiting to happen.
Sage green Stetson 3X:
Found AO at The Old Place in Malibu, I happened to be outfitted appropriately.
You do great honor to that hat.
I appreciate that, it gets carefully worn every week!
Instagram worthy …
I got out of the IG #game. Kept FB for the groups (mostly hat related). I got my niches, a Polaroid from the same outting. Love that these are 1 of 1
Ironically I found the pictured T. Mix hat on IG, bothered the guy enough to sell it to me. Kinda wrapped up that whole platform for me.
That's a nice one, Brent!
