1949's "Saturday Night Fish Fry" by Louis Jordan is concerned by many to be one the very first "rock and roll" songs! Even the lyrics say " Rockin' 'Till the break of dawn." I like how the recording lists the song as a "Fox Trot", how little did they know.

So ... my daughter has a dog named "Chicken". I usually just call her "Chick" or "Chica", but this morning I called her "Chick-a-boom" ... then this song popped into my head. I can't seem to get rid of the earworm so I though maybe sharing it would make it disperse. You're welcome ...
