Great outfit and the socks look spot on to me
made this for swing dancing in the parade today...
for whatever odd reason it doesn't come up at all so here's the link. maybe it's just my pc. reimage time!
Lovely dress, HK....... and so very appropriate for this day.
thanks Tomasso. I figured out what I did to mess up and got it right in the PR and came back to fix it here but you beat me to it. merci!
Looks great on you!
That is one classic ensemble. The blues go very well together.
Nothing fancy for Independence Day, but dressy enough. My Palace Clothiers, 2-button suit, with a Hollyvogue necktie labeled Francais Moderne ($3.50 price tag still on it).
Is there a significance to the lapel pin?
^^Thanks, Jamie. Hollyvogue is more famous for its wider ties, many of them hand-painted in CA. The pin is a copy of the Iraq Campaign ribbon.
Ah! Thanks for your service and a Happy 4th to you and yours
that's quite a nice suit btw
and Panache you look great too
I second this, you look great sproily!
I'm a big fan of an Argyle sock, myself. Tartan is familiar, but I can't call the name to mind from memory... Jacket/ waistcoat are great - always nice to see something different than the more formal black being worn with a kilt. The regular shoes look great (truth be told, I'm not a huge fan of the high-lacing brogues; I think I'm gong to try and track down a buckling pair for my own Highland dress). The long Sporran is an interesting choice, too - I most commonly see those on pipers, especially military.
You always look like you are having such a good time.
All I can say is 'va va va voom' Rue...;0
Wonderful look Berlin!
Well I don't think that pictures of me bored would go over so well
Getting ready to dance in the parade yesterday. it was a lot of fun
Berlin I LOVE your dress!
Thanks Djd and Hepkitty! ( fftopic: Love your avatar btw!)
