My only Akubra is a fawn Sombrero, open crown. Purchased around 20 years ago in a clearance and close out store named “Building #19,” for $19.88.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Just got my first Akubra a few weeks ago - A Balmoral Hemp for the hot Texas Summers.
I assume only color is NATURAL.....
About to order a Banjo Paterson in Heritage Fawn.
I love the Moonstone and Bluegrass Green, wish the Banjo came in those. Maybe a Stylemaster after that.....

There's the issue of the Stylemaster being a factory-creased hat, which makes the comparison more difficult for me. (Wouldn't it be nice to see a Stylemaster with an open crown?) That said, I would agree that the Stylemaster's crown is shorter with more of a taper than the Camp Draft.
I got my Stylemaster after wearing only a couple of modern Stetson fedoras with relatively low crowns. This made my Stylemaster look like a much more "significant" hat when I first got it. But since I've been wearing the Bushmen and Camp Drafts, the Stylemaster now looks like the little brother.
That Balmoral looks great on you.
