It's the Thunder Bay
Rarely gets that cold here in Indiana. Here's what I have to wear....
Peacoat with heavy sweater....B-6 shearling....leather jacket with insulated vest....quilted insulated lined knit inner cuff Carhart.
Lots of Icebreaker layers! I have three so far, top and bottom. A bit overkill in Ireland.
Very nice, I have one in goatskin, it's a great jacket.
Thats nice for a little stroll....
A nice shearling with a big collar and cuffs....sure going out to get the paper off the front lawn... yours will do the trick !!
Once it gets real cold, this is the only option for me.
Will see how this fares in the cold
I usually start with a pair of fleece tights and a cozy flannel shirt.
That looks warm and snug !!
...Iron Heart N1 deck jacket!
...alpaca lined! Heck of an animal.
My U Boat leathers...when I had them. Both the deck jacket and trousers. I got them years ago but had to let go of them since I outgrew them. Now I have a long brown leather coat that was given to me that I put a fleece liner in from another coat. The zipper was ok to fit it, except there was some length on the one side. That did not, however, make the liner not fit into the coat well. It fits very comfortably.
Before that I'll have to shoo the polar bears out of my lawn.
