I put in an offer on that hat a couple weeks ago. It would never fit me but I just wanted it. I’m glad it went to someone who can maybe wear it.

Some nice toppers, Bob. Very classy indeed. I especially like the older one. As for the WAR: it's not the ribbon of course, but the mourning band. The lower part with the metal clasp is the actual ribbon.

Steve -- I have no idea on the size (probably tiny), but just liked them and this was a gap in the collection. I'll post a pic of me wearing them regardless.

Stefan -- Thanks! I knew I had seen that somewhere before, but didn't think of the correct term to search for ("mourning"). So I guess WAR Wednesday is out. Do we have a Mourning Band Monday yet?
