Lovely details—enjoy!I paid too much but my knees, and my wallet, go all wobbly when I see an almost NOS Penn Craft bowler.

I haven't really seen much action lately, but had to snap these up from ebay. The first is blue according to the seller; I suspect they've got some age to them - I'm pretty confident pre-war and may even possibly be 20s. We shall see soon enough!

I came very close to buying this one myself. I was still on the fence when I saw it ended. Congrats! And thank you for helping me to keep my money.Towards the end of the run 7XCB:

I know but for how much???It will be for sale again in a few days.
That's why I never pulled the trigger on that one. It's nice but just a little too modern for what I'm looking for. And of course, I'm not flipping them either. Just collecting and wearing. It’s just one of the many services I’m glad to provide.
If you find a mid-1950s or earlier specimen then I recommend you make sure you end up with it.
Very nice, Wayne. You don't see Lincoln Bennett fedoras all that often; it's mostly formal hats that are on offer of this brand.Surprisingly another duo - very similar.

And I think pre-war, though unfamiliar with the maker:

"SHE'S COMING HOME TO DADDY!" LOL
I Introduce to you a Mallory "The Mallory Ten" Premier Quality 7 1/8, Seller States its a 1940-1950 but I'm gonna Stick with the 1950's from what I seen on other Mallorys from the Lounge.

The 1823 date on the liner tip usually is an indication of pre-Stetson takeover, which would put it before '46/47. That cloth size tag and reedless sweatband also are indicators of an earlier make. Nice get!
