I haven't really seen much action lately, but had to snap these up from ebay. The first is blue according to the seller; I suspect they've got some age to them - I'm pretty confident pre-war and may even possibly be 20s. We shall see soon enough!

If you find a mid-1950s or earlier specimen then I recommend you make sure you end up with it.
That's why I never pulled the trigger on that one. It's nice but just a little too modern for what I'm looking for. And of course, I'm not flipping them either. Just collecting and wearing.

I Introduce to you a Mallory "The Mallory Ten" Premier Quality 7 1/8, Seller States its a 1940-1950 but I'm gonna Stick with the 1950's from what I seen on other Mallorys from the Lounge.

The 1823 date on the liner tip usually is an indication of pre-Stetson takeover, which would put it before '46/47. That cloth size tag and reedless sweatband also are indicators of an earlier make. Nice get!
