Good morning. I just have completed outdoor yard chores and took a pic at the spring and water feature in the yard. The ice evidences the temp change for today, cold and breezy. Hatted in my VS Executive, like Davids (DJH)new one :eusa_clap.

Enjoy the day folks, Eric -

My brand new FL special edition Akubra Camp Draft.

The pinch looks off centre but it's in fact the hat that a little crooked on my head.

OK, so I wore this one today. One of my top five.

In the late '30s, Stetson was getting a little fed up with the popularity (and market share in the U.S.) of Borsalino, a wonderful hat maker but among the Axis powers. We hadn't gotten into the fray fully but a lot of writing was on the wall. So, they pulled this little number on the buying public. "Eagle". Red, white & blue bow inside. Ad campaign to practically shame you into buying AMERICAN. Fine with me.

I've got this one and another in grey. They are also "Medalist" grade (hooey), and "Vita-Felt Process" embossed.

Check out "The Natural" with Redford and you'll see one just like it in action. Funny that the initials on the sweatband are "R R ". Life imitating art in sort of a time travel situation? Yeah, that's got to be it.

A plethora of magnificent hats today, gents. Rusty, Alex, David, Sam, Alan, Gene, Mystic, and Robert to name but a few.

But I'd like to take just a second, and say, Gene is good to see you back on the Lounge. We all hate to see old friends and familiar faces fade away.

    Awesome Hats Today!!!

Terrific crease on that hat, Dean!

Lite and tight! Nice hat, David!! :thumb:

You are STYLIN', indeed, sir! :yo:

Everyone needs at least 1 stingy. You've picked a good one, Big_e!

Thanks for sharing this, Warden. Cheers! :cheers1:

You wear that well homburg well, case. Quite the ensemble! I'm expecting my first homburg sometime next week. Getting excited!

Always a stunning hat, Eric, no matter what the weather!! I can see why David was inspired by it. :thumb: Send some of that snow down south!! :smow:

Aaron, you picked a nice hat. The brim width looks good with your profile.

That hat looks FANTASTIC on you, Adam! The dimensions and color fit you perfect!

Let's go! Up Deleware Avenue!! :car:

Well used. Well used. It was quite rainy all day today in Atlanta.

Great day for a great hat! Your Dobbs is a beauty, Mystic!! :yo: I'm getting excited about Milan weather around the corner. Though, with this weather it could be next week.

Nice one, RBH. I'm really liking these thin ribbons!!

Gene, The Natural is one of my favorite movies. I just watched it again the other day, and the hat his father wears in the beginning of the movie is such a classic!! I can't believe you have one!!! :hail:

I've actually been thinking about that hat quite a bit. Wanted to commission a hat just like it. Thanks for showing it! The sweatband ribbon is TDF~!!!

I spent most of the day indoors, because of the rainy weather. No bother, I wore my Falcon Park (no pic) and then I switched to my black Dobbs TWENTY...

Showing appreciation to some of our corporate donors by giving them a lunchtime concert today. I wanted to wear my FP Black Cherry, but went with my Dennis Brooks black beaver (raw edge!) instead. It is most definitely a black hat, despite the grayish tone in the photo.
