    An old Borsalino I purchased and gave to my dad many years ago. It's a little small for me but with a gentle stretch I can wear it. From the Zlateff Bulgarian collection that is purported to have been made in the 1930s and kept in storage during WWII. Not sure this is true, but it is an earlier hat. A very fine velour that could be a cousin to another velour Columbo I purchased more recently.

    Wow. The man could wear a hat. You're right, he had a terrific way of owning that lid... the original Friedman Front!? Great photo of a great man wearing a great hat.

    100% beaver, sanded to 800grit, 5" crown, 5 3/8 brim. Silky smooth body!
