What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Took a walk across the creek for the first time in a couple of months. Lots of downed trees piled up from the last three years of floods so it can be a bit of work. Here are a couple of beaters wearing a couple of beaters. Mine is the 7XCB with racing stripe and lumps, my wife's is her vintage Resistol with lots of "character".

I did find the lawn chair that I didn't put high enough on the creek bank late this summer when leaving the swimming hole (about 3/4 of a mile upstream).

And a rock with a hole in it ... in my mind that makes up for the chair.

Oh no! It's funny how they can't resist tearing up a special hat or a shoe. But they know they messed up the second they see you. It's kind of like when we just have to buy another hat... And then the wife sees the box arrive on the doorstep.

Just chilin' in the yard today. Ran to Lowes for some mulch for the flower beds, now kicking back in the palapa watching the breezes blow the plants and wind chimes. Mismatch Sunday in an old Santa Fe Montichristi, filson workshirt, Packer's tshirt, sweatpants and a pair of crocs. I be styling. Waiting on the Packers to score another win tonight.

Nope, it came with the hat. Was installed by Santa fe Montichristi, some type of pheasant band.

lol, upstairs has a theater room, game room (where I work on my hats) an exercise room, and 2 bedrooms . Downstairs is the main living kitchen and dining area and master. Wife wanted someplace all the family can come to for the holidays. Everything is bigger in Texas.

Very cool, that is one of Waechtersbach’s classic designs. I collect old East German Nutcrackers and Christmas ornaments, so it all goes well together. Nothing made in China....
