I am out with my dog this cold evening in a Stetson Playboy.

Truth in posting - I am watching the stars while sipping a Guinness.

Thanks, I'm planning on being a better member here, really miss this interaction. I am back with the living again, had a double lamenectomy back operation in August of 2019. Totally took the pain away! I thought that now, 2020 is going to be my year! Not so much... My landscape does look much nicer this year though. I have been my wife's personal "houseboy". She is still working (from home), and loving not having to go to campus.

Sharp jacket and hat pairing this morning Perry. In addition, thanks for the likes and comments sir.

It is a cold early morning here in Minnesota, 17'f (-8c). Out this morning wearing a vintage Stetson with a unique brim treatment. This gray blue hat is showing blue in the cold, gray morning sky.

  6. Thanks Eric. I love your pics, but I'm glad I don't live in Minnesota.

Its time to dig out my fluffy Borsalino it seems. Always love this great Knox Michael. Been missing your winter stylings.

Yesterday I spent a lot of time at medical appointments, doctor in the morning, oral surgeon in the afternoon. Getting a tune up of medications for my decrepit body and some needed work on a broken molar that lost its crown (in 2019, back surgery and Covid has delayed this hell). Not looking forward to the next couple of weeks to say the least. I felt the need for a proper English Homburg to meet the doctors with. This one is by Joseph Wilson and has a "heathered" felt. Probably mid 1950s. This hat made me feel better... I'll be out in the freezing cold today collecting the new drugs. Today will require an overcoat and a dress weight felt for sure. Will post that one later.

I am back from a morning meeting - small 3 person business group, social distance and of course masks. We had put this off for several months and now needed to proceed. Very strange as we maintained >6ft. around a conference table. This meeting was a negotiation of some business and property. It needed to be done in person. It will not be done again as it was too strange. I will wait to see if and when we all survive the pandemic and then continue meetings of this type.

To point I wore a vintage bespoke 50's shark skin suit, 30's Robert, Johnson and Rand spectators and 40's tie and paired the outfit with a Marathon Air Commander, J.C.Penny's Supreme Quality. Truly a Supreme fedora, IMO.

Home and fixing some lunch on the grill. A Vintage Stetson Premiere Stratoliner in Cadet Blue is my fedora for the task.

Superb, Wayne. One that belongs in your collection for sure.
Thanks, Wayne. The Rothschild is a special one alright.

A unique day at the office today. I was asked, and even encouraged, to bring and wear a hat for our team photo, Halloween themed, of course. Don’t have to twist my arm! Throwing back to the days of Bankers Specials, Stetson 7x CB in Beverly Hills.

Gorgeous hat, Eric (as usual). The subtle stripe on the ribbon is a bonus.

Thank you, Michael. The finishing on the Rothschild is exceptional.

A good petting hat will get you through the winter. That one qualifies.

It's still going strong, Mike. Rare beasts those heathered homburgs.

Some outstanding blues there, Eric. Fantastic.
