Nice hat. My wife has also a Hornskov in dusty rose.
We drove down to Southern Wakayama prefecture today to see Ichimai Iwa Monolith. Stopped for grilled eel on the way.
The monolith was spectacular and with so few people around, it was nice to get the masks off. That’s my wife you can see in front of the monolith.
I wore my most monolithic hat for the occasion - my resistol XXX.
I don’t get too much occasion to wear this hat (my wife is usually reluctant to be seen with me when I wear it), but I always enjoy it when I do.
I made...some zen stones?...an inukshuk?...I stacked some stones!
Etsuko’s wearing a Maxim.
It's been a while. Good to see you, David.
Killing it with the food pics again , Gary.
The credits belong to the Italian makers of these products, Daniele.
Very nice, Bob. I like that phrase "no other fibers"; what "other" fibers were they thinking of?
The hatted chef: it does have a nice ring to it.
One of the finest hats around. Wonderful, Joe.
It does work very well with the brim up. Nice catch, Gary.
Wonderful homburg, Daniele. Not an often seen model.
Well hatted for the job, Alan.
The liner in that second one is fabulous, Johnny.
Gorgeous hat, Janina. The richness of the colours is amazing.
Eat, drink, rock and hats. Yup, that's all the boxes ticked!
The hat on the right is the winner by a landslide! Great pic, Joe.
We're old fashioned in many ways!
Both hats look amazing!
Just in time to catch up with Italian week. Here we go.
Borsalino Idorsca Misto Lapis
Borsalino Misto nebbia
Borsalino Nero (modern)
Borsalino Gorasgu Palladio
Borsalino Film Caffe
Borsalino Caunosca dattero
Bonus pics. I took the 3X beaver Open Road for a spin.
Today people enjoyed the ice, while it's still there.
And another shot of the Barbisio to channel my inner Lee van Cleef.
Thanks Stefan. Was nice to do normal things... even if in a non normal way
What a tremendous array of hats today. That Gorasgu Palladio is beautiful
Way to "Western" Stefan!
Thanks, gentlemen. The Barbisio is certainly a "western" type hat, but I think the Open Road can be worn just as well as a dress hat, especailly if it's creased this way.
All fantastic Stefan, though the misti do it best for me.
Nice to see the gunslinger in you too, I guess I'll need to reconsider my visit to your storage room
The Lapis seems to have a taller than normal crown, or is just just the camera? Regardless, all you hats look fantastic. I do like those wide brimmed "Cowboys" as well.
Thanks, Panos. The misto felts are a favourite of mine too. The Open Road is perfectly wearable, but the Cowboy may be a bit much.
Thank you, Randy. The center dent on the misto lapis is not as deep, which makes the crown look taller.
Yes, and this is fine by me. It would only make the check easier in the evening.
Is the color as beautiful as a expect?
Both hats are absolutely beautiful! And a really cute picture of you two btw!
Best day today
to wear my Hornskov in stone with a sand ribbon.
