Disney Twenty this morning
Finally a moment to pause, in a Coffee shop. Dressed in a serious rush today for an emergency drive, taking Mrs. Hats to the ophthalmologist. Watch out for “floaters” which can forewarn of a detached retina. Ouch!!
On the bright side for today is the impending birth of our 6th grandchild. It looks like it will be necessary to seduce her into labor. This couple does things according to the ancient ways, and will find out the gender upon arrival. Weird, eh?!
For all this I reached for the first hat on the rack, from @deadlyhandsome, this Cavanagh to keep off the remaining sprinkles of Ida.
Congrats on the impending grandbaby, Charles! Health and good luck to baby, Momma, and Dad.
I'm old enough to remember when a gender reveal party was called "labor."
Many thanks, Jim! Both for the good wishes, but mostly for that line about labor, which I am stealing, but will footnote you accordingly.
Congrats, Gramps! @hatsRme
It's all yours Charles.
Inspired by another thread and temps in the 60s, I went with my Batsakes custom today.
Congratulations Charlie, and good luck to the Mrs. if you’re about to get the weather that I just had, I hope you’ve got your boat ready! Be safe!
Hat looks good on you Charlie. Hope all goes well at the doc’s and for the new arrival
A lovely hat Jim
Thanks Alan! Our other VERY pregnant daughter (your “neighbor”) in Scarsdale called at 11:30 last night for advice on pumping out their basement…
We have our boots on!
The hat colour and the feather looks really good together . Fantastic hat
Two VS lids in two days! Is that a streak? Both look super, Johnny, and the feathers add a little “je ne sais quoi,” and I like them.
Newly arrived Borsalino Alessandria
Last two posts make the colour look similar. So here is a shot of both so you can see how blue and green they are.
both are VS made by Art Fawcett
Crazy busy day Charlie. I am thinking of you and your family tonight. Hat - what a hat!
Johnny; I am speaking to the band when I say Art's hats are sublime and raise my heart rate when I see them.
Cheers to all, Eric -
Me coming back from seeing King Crimson last night. Incredible show. The Zappa band (several of Frank's sidemen touring under the auspices of the Zappa Family Trust) opened. Just a great evening of excellent music.
The obligatory Adam Executive Concert hat.
