It's still a great choice of ribbon, David. Really makes that wonderfully shaped Fedora shine.Stetson with the new band. I know how hard it is to capture the color of felt but this band surprised me with how impossible it is to photograph. In real life it is a deep burgundy color—like the dregs of a glass of wine—but it comes out much brighter and redder and nowhere near as nice. Oh well—enjoy the day!

Love that olive green colour and contrasting ribbon and bow treatment, Charlie. A wind-cord is always a plus in my book. Cool handy-dandy hangerI have a soft spot for olive green felt, too. Black Sheep Hat Works, with the handy dandy hat-holding hanger.

Late home from a seminar. Pictures taken in a basement.
Battersby Bowler via our favourite Dutch enabler was my hat of choice.

Looking quite sharp as usual. The Strato-like looks greatView attachment 468766
Esther's Strat-a-like or: The bespoke grey by the ladies at Gamble & Gunn.
Sorry Esther, but Tina chose the latter, so G & G it is.

Has anyone seen The "Pure Stratoliner?" It is gorgeous but I
reckon Esther nailed it. And she didn't charge me anything
like the Stetson asking price of $410. All the same I do rather
like the alabaster Strat. $410 though. Perhaps if I said it in
Stirling at £340, it sounds less.

Mallory Coast to Coast - Dark Grey Brown
4 3/4 - 3 7/8 rakish crown
1 5/8 pewter grosgrain ribbon
2 3/8 brim with 3/8 bound edge
Thanks go out to @DaveProc for the tip on this Mallory Coast to Coast and a fairly dark grey brown felt. Having seen Jim’s @Frunobulax C2C I knew I wouldn’t go wrong with this buy. This I believe would be later 50s considering the card stock size tag and slightly shorter brim at 2 3/8. The dark taupe felt is offset ever so slightly with a pewter grosgrain ribbon and brim binding. The crown still sports what appears to be its factory tear drop and rakish crease. Mallory are among my favorites and I do have a few with similar (Whippet-ish) styling but none with the C2C designation or this coloring so this will fit in nicely.
