It’s an independent feature which I have used a lot in restaurants.Love that hanger feature! Never seen it. Is it part of the wind cord or different feature altogether?

I'm loving that green Dobbs today. You are the sharpest dressed snow shoveler out there, no doubt.Good morning folks.
A morning walkabout wearing a Mallory homburg. This inky blue felt is showcased by the burgandy trim. A very classy look that better shows up in daylight.

A switched to a different homburg for some shoveling. The Dobbs homburg is certainly a unique green felt.

After the efforts the homburg went on a hat block to dry out and I switched to a Stetson Vogue to fill feeders and move some cut wood.

Cheers, Eric -
Gorgeous hat, Gary.So we hit December in Japan.
I know it’s early for Stingymas, but since I’ll be in New Zealand with only one or two hats, I won’t get to participate. So I figured I would share my modest collection of stingy brims in the lead up to the main event.
First up, a Daniele Tanto special. The Véritable Feutre de Poil. A French hat from an unknown maker with a sweatband and ribbon from Penumbra hats. The heathered felt is a fur/wool blend.

5.5cm brim. Stingy enough to qualify, Joe?

You make wearing a bowler appear to be cool. The liner of this one is special.
Thank you, Eric. Appreciate it.
Super looking Cavanagh, Charlie. Great photo of JFK and Ike.Better late, and not forgotten, my annual November 22 post, a 1960s Cavanagh in the memory of President John F. Kennedy. This was the style of hat he *didn’t* wear… or did he?! I have one of Gannon's earlier Whisky felts with the copper ribbon. The Whisky is a great colour. Now I want one with the charcoal ribbon.Check the Gannon thread out. He has been commissioned to make a bunch of different styled fedoras with the Winchester Whiskey felt. https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/m-c-gannon-hat-company.83744/ .
Lots of felt offerings from Gannon.

Thanks and happy hunting.
Eric -
Some really wonderful features on that Borsalino, Brent.
Mallory are for sure some of my favorites. I would love to have some more pre 1946 Stetson takeover which I don’t come across too too often…. But honestly the Mallory hats I have handled say first 15 years post are very well made and styled hats. A really good quality era for them in my opinion.Latest arrival
Mallory must have made some great hats because every time I see one the felt quality looks so damn good! I never see them for sale either.
Thank you Eric. Agreed. They are some of my favorites. In fact most of my Mallory stay on my hat rack Ready to go.I admire the Coast To Coast. That is a sharp hat. Mallory made some darn fine hats into the 50's.
That color looks great.
Always a treat to get to see the blue Mallory Homburg. That Dobbs is quite the gem as well.Good morning folks.

Lots to like on that one Greg. Especially the liner and ribbon treatment
