50’s Stratoliner after a cleanup with paper towels dampened with naptha, and a steaming. Various annoying stains, including those on ribbon, are gone for now.

Thanks D. I was pretty happy with the way that hat and outfit worked. I usually favor a more clash and burn style. Ha ha.

Fantastic. I agree with you regarding the more “square” shape. Very nice!

Gonna be another one of those mornings. As much as I can’t stand this, I have heard that many other regions are getting it worse this season, so I’m pulling every ounce of energy I have to abstain from complaining.
Thankful to have this Carmack hat to collect the snow.

I know the feeling, but it seems you can't win them all (but I can't remember why that is :)).
Thanks, Michael. I should do a comparison of these heather felt sometime. Might be fun.

Another day of foggy sun, but it is the big Carnival in Verona. The 489th edition;)

Felt is very soft and with a medium hair finish. Very unusual the shape. Bob has one with same shape, but not with hair

Sold in Parma - Italia, it seems made in the sixties.

Thanks a lot for your kind words on the Huckel, scarf and jacket.
May I say you give me, everyday, new ideas about hats :)

Alan! Wonderful fedora. Makes me just want to roll around in it. :) If I still lived up north, I could definately wear that. Unique color. Very nice.

Another beauty, Alan. I do admire that special brim curve you seem to favour for your hats; very stylish.

Thanks, Stefan. This hat has a deeply scooped flange - it would take some serious work to make it wear any other way. After a hundred years, I'm not about to wrestle with it!

Thanks Joao... I kinda had a feeling.

A beautiful choice for carnivale. I think I have mentioned my fond memories of our winter visit to Putignano in 2001. They date their carnivale tradition to 1394 I think. Old stuff for us newbies in the new world. Salute Daniele!
