Fidelity HH on HEB run for the lady.
Thankful for a friendly crew that shares an interest in cool things made right the old fashioned way. IH wabash vest today. (no leather its ungodly hot for November).
Cheers TFL friends!
New Excelled jacket received this week ! (thanks Monitor for his useful advice)
Biblical rain today, shoes already soaked through, but the CXL jacket repelled most of it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. And Thanks for all the photos posted here today. Great stuff.
That's a great one! Fidelity made a perfect cut. Comfortable, well tailored, great details all around. Wore mine all day today.
It's been a couple crazy years, but I've learned, it can be always be worse. So taking a minute to say I'm thankful for a lot. Happy Thanksgiving fellow TFLers
a-2 goodwear goatskin Doneger
My favorite A-2. How do you like the goat, Alex?
Oh, he's amazing))) it's not thin, it's soft, and it's getting better and better every time..
Love it. That contract is so elegant in it's execution.
I agree with you.
Thank you sir)
A little closer))
That is so cool! And a textbook example of the great aging possibilities of sheepskin.
Jacket from Tony arrived a few days ago. Being this is the third jacket with Tony , the measurements are pretty much dialed in and the fit is pretty good.
However the blue shinki horsehide I bought and sent to Tony isn’t as nice as I expected. I received 3 pieces of hides. 2 of them are not grainy at all and 1 is very grainy (more similar to the one Greg from field leathers posted on his ig). The smooth hide has a plastic feel to it which I’m not a fan of. Tony had a hard time matching the panels while making the jacket. It smells kind of funny too. Maybe I got a bad batch I am not sure.
The none grainy parts are used as the body. Since receiving the jacket I try to hit the parts lacking grain with water using a spray bottle and leave the grainy part alone. Hopefully with more wear the panels will even out a bit more.
The indoor light makes the leather looks black but it is indeed blue under more natural light.

New custom russet badalassi Wayfarer from Aero just landed - the brother of my black badalassi
version, but this one has no wrist or side straps - the latter replaced with elastication. Shearling lining, brown mouton collar and rayon wool-backed sleeves with storm cuffs - perfect for the current weather!
My fav is my canon 85mm 1.4 great portrait lens. Awesome jacket btw!
