Today and yesterday: ELMC B-3 ("Concho") to the office. Fits over a suit jacket and is frankly the only kit acceptable in this dark, gloomy, moist coldness called November.

Not my most elegant or subtle jacket, but I´ve come to appreciate a lot. Plus my secretary loves it...

So I think the jacket is great.
Fit is top and at least on the photo the leather looks not bad.
    Congratulations

Awesome jacket. I really like that concho too, makes the jacket a bit more playful.

I don’t think it’s bad but imo not worth the premium price in my case, which is probably bad luck with the batch variation.

Also there is a problem of me buying a small amount of leather and send it to the maker. If the difference between the hide is large then there is little the maker can do but have to mismatch the panels.

Thanks, Marc! I am still on the fence with B-3/Irving jackets from a style perspective (and this one in particular). But they are just so perfectly fitting for damp/cold weather that I find myself grabbing this one really often.

A very chilly 19 F (-7 C) morning in Chicago. Breaking out my Aero ANJ-4 for its first wear of the season.

Morning errands in the Bates then switched to Comet for family time.

Any thoughts on a leather I’d buy new today to have it wear in like the Bates?

Walk’n it off. I feel like about 10lbs of pumpkin pie landed in my face alone. LOL. Didn’t stop me from another generous slice for breakfast.

What jacket did you wear to the beach today?....well, yesterday.

The collar on this 50s jacket could compete with the best of the 70s, at 4 inches from seam to tip.
