What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Premiere today for my new shawl collar Barnstormer in cordovan FQHH. Compared to my other shearling lined aero (Long Half Belt - https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/new-aero-long-half-belt-shearling-lined.89578/), the FQHH is quite thinner and lighter, the shearling lining also thinner, the fit more relaxed and the sleeves longer = a much more wearable and comfortable jacket. Still as warm as an oven though.

I’m out of coffee. So I took a short walk to Dunkin. It’s 30°F (-1C) this morning so I put on my Aero B-3. Who knew it’d pair so well with sweatpants? Lol On the return it was unzipped as I was getting too hot from my walk.

Pleased with my new Matchless Inverness bomber. Quality seems good, fits well.
Not quite the same quality or weight as my Aero but can’t complain. New jacket at around half new price from eBay Germany. Unsure why the fit pics are slightly out of focus but you get the idea.

This Sportclad horsehide jacket is one of the lightest weight jackets I own, certainly lighter than any of my half-belt reproduction jackets.
Ran a few errands in town today, but mostly stayed up on the ridge watching the storms blow in.

TOYS McCoy has outdone themselves once again. This is the kind of grail I wouldn’t think twice to pull out my wallet. My reasoning was long gone as will you when you see it in person.

Durable “The Wild One” with its iconic B.R.M.C insignia. Horsehide. Smug fit, short body length with wide shoulders. This is size 36, it’s roomier than my Real McCoy J-24 in size 38.

Vintage wool Halfbelt. Thick and scratchy wool, quilted liner. My only gripe is the sleeve length, too short, so I may send it to Dena for the leather banded cuff treatment, which I think would work out well.
