I have this cap and it is a big disappointment. It is far too stiff and the visor is vinyl covered. Don't touch it!

Jerry Lee's Crusher is supposed to be his own design, nothing like any other one out there. I do not own one, but they look really good.

If, by Jerry Lee, you mean WPG, it looks really tall to me. Almost silly tall. That's one of the reasons I felt it was the also the USW cap. If not, what makes one high cap less wrong than another?

It says in the description that you can remove the stiffener. I hope that by asking if anybody owned the cap they would post a picture of the nice "crush" they applied to this cap.

Eastman has a really nice one, but a bit pricey at 160 pounds.
Here's one that is available through Garcia Aviation. I haven't talked to anyone who has this crusher, but the description reads nicely: soft leather visor, correct OD "elastique" construction, US made, satin lined...

I've been debating on that cap for some time now, as I have not had an "adequate" and "defining" review, or even some pictures of this current cap. Some here on the FL have had mixed feelings about the cap, making my decision a lot harder. As of now, I have a chance at the Diamond Cap Co.'s "Flighter", so it's between that and the Garcia cap.

You're definitely right. But, before I make a final decision, I'd like some of the stuff I had heard about the Garcia cap, because, pictures can be deceiving.
