I’m thinking of a winter jacket from Aero. Likely a long half belt, or half belt deluxe in goatskin and shearling lined.

Can anyone comment on their experiences with either of these styles? Differences?

I have a goatskin Thunderbay with black shearling, it’s a great jacket, nice and light.

I find that for a proper winter that those lengths won't work. Stockman works in relative cold weather, but you'd be better off with a Carhartt or a wool overcoat.

I really like the long half belt it’s a great winter coat and if you want to get it warmer get the alpaca or something like that but you won’t go wrong it’s a nice length and it’s quite warm.
