I think they deserve a thread on their own before the links and pictures get buried in other long threads. I prefer knit waistcoats that look a lot like suit waistcoats. The contrasting edges are a nice detail too. Let's collect pictures from this style from illustrations or photographs...Vintage or repro. Links to source repros are welcome too.

Ah yes. The brown beach type gets high prices every time. According to dinerman they seem not to be made in an impressive quality. Just for the looks and the collectable value then...

Baron, i think this is the wrong thread for tank tops / sleeveless pullovers. i believe FFF is referring to 'vests' as in the American term for 'waistcoat'.
i.e. it must have a buttoning front.
