I don't know if this is your sale but I'm always wary of these kind of items. Without any certificate or proof that this particular Zippo was from Gene Krupa there's no way to tell if it is indeed original.

Anyone could stamp that on a Zippo.

It would be very easy to engrave a zippo....geez...did Elvis ever smoke? !!!!!!!

Yeah, no it was sent to Zippo to repair the hood and givin to their Historian. They indicated that although theres no "guaranteed way" to know if he bought it, the date of manufacture was 1959 and they could authenticate that it was Zippos factory engraving matching that time frame.
