We took a vacation to Italy. We basically did two legs, The first was the central Italy countryside, The second leg was Rome...We had a blast. I have a ton of pics, but I'd be afraid to bore you!

I can't speak for anyone else, obviously, but I could do with a bit of boredom. Post away!

Spent some family time in Maui with my trusty shantung OR. I still ultimately prefer a woven straw, but just as a practical matter, this hat works out quite well. Won't be crushed by the xray and water repellant for those Maui showers.

I spent 5 nights in a perfect house on the Oregon Coast with my mother and sister, who live several states away and I see far too infrequently.

The sand CD was my hat of choice for the trip because, well... it is replaceable. It is WINDY on the Oregon Coast. (The CD made it home.)

I love the Oregon coast! Just a few hours from me. I think I have pictures near that lighthouse too.

Hiked out this morning to see what's left of an old ore crusher hidden within the Ruffner Mountain nature preserve. No hat pic because the 93% humidity had me doing without.
