I think it's good. Sleeve length is very subjective and depends on the jacket of course but generally (and in my opinion, of course), for a leather jacket of this style, you don't want them to go much below your wrists, precisely so they're not in the way.
Sheepskin is often thought of having the same pitfalls of lambskin while people keep forgetting the 80's, which is when sheep truly earned its place on the leather jacket market.
You can still find countless A-2's by Avirex, made in thick, massive sheep leather that are holding their own as...
This could've/would've been my own collection some 15 years ago. Now I don't have a single motorcycle jacket anymore... In any case, very cool and very nice. Burberry looks like sheepskin. Fantastic, tough leather, when not skived.
This indeed is the early Harley-Davidson cross zip though I'm not certain about the age. Could be 50's but I don't know how long in they were making these. Earliest ones had an even older Talon and the decorations were more elaborate. There's the "High quality, Fine Workmanship" tag... This is...
Huh! Now that you mention it, the sleeves on the 50's Cal that I had were finished just like that, too. Is Greg always doing cuffs that way on his jackets? If so then okay. But I just didn't see that on new jackets. They always make it neater.
There just seems to be a lot of loose material on...
This is sad.
It is sad because @mvilla didn't get the jacket he wanted, of course but it is sad because this isn't representative of Greg's work & it didn't need to happen.
Greg is among the best in the business. His workmanship is second to none yet... This happened. There's no justification...
Anyone knows the name of this style?
Also... What happened to Comp. Weight? Seriously, is it impossible to source a leather like this anymore? Look at this! It's art!
