Welted edge with unusual stitch-binding.
Made by "Stadion". Any more information available on this maker?

The paper label has a model number 2241. Might be 1941, but I rather think that the hat is older... ca. 1930-35.

Great condition and very sturdy but smooth felt.

Armin, Great find! It also has a fantastic look (really interesting / unique too). It's says Stadion is the Quality so doesn't appear to be a company mark. I will try to search through some of my information and see if there is any reference to Stadion or Sunda.

Stefan Esders "Velour", 59cm, Crown Open 6 inches, Brim 2 3/4 inches probably later 1930s early 1940s. I picked this up from a non Ebay seller near Vienna. It was made for the famous Vienna department store Stefan Esders but no company mark on the paper label. It was most likely made by one of the Vienna hat companies. The felt is a fantastic darkish Gray Velour.

P. & C. Habig Wien "Export Qualität", 59cm, probably late 1950s. This is a NOS from Hut Brömme Nürnberg. Unique color with contrasting band and binding.

Today I was in Dortmund and there I found some nice Hats tool!
A nice Mayser Monty Funal in Black, maybe a 80s hat .

Also a Resistol Majestic stingy in a lite gray, probably made by Mayser it Wegener! I guess from the 70s!

Wonderful hats and a great find, although I don't have a particular interest in the stingy brim variety of hats (not many here on the lounge do I think). Lees is (or was) T&W Lees of Stockport England. They made hats for several companies. Many of their hats hats share this kind of lining. Beautiful quality hats. Are hats that common at fleamarkets in Germany by the way or is it more like looking for a needle in a haystack (like it is over here in Holland)?

C. G. Wilke, Brim Over Welt 2 1/2 inches , Crown Open 6 inches, paper label missing, measures 57cm, probably 1920s. I don't see any sign of a tip patch so might have had a liner. The Velour is really fantastic but it has some nicks.

Love it. There's something special about these shiny longhair hats. Their gloss makes them look blacker than black somehow. Do you know if any homburg style hats were ever made with this finish?

Thanks for the Information about Lees. You are right the Quality of that hat is great also that super soft leather sweatband.
I was with Steve on a fleamarket last year and I found 7 Hats you see there is indeed a market for hats on fleamarket.
Hat wearer you can count on one hand here in Germany, most of them prefer the Woolmix or chrushfelt version of a traveller look! Very offen to find on a market are Homburger or black Fedoras, thats the standard color [emoji16]

Cervo is Barbisio If I am right or, Daniele?

In those days when the black Cervo was made "Cappellificio Cervo" was a single brand.
The factory was three hundred meters further from Barbisio.
They were in the same valley (Valle del Cervo - Biella) making hats with others smaller hats producers.
In 1981 Barbisio closed the factory and the brand was bought by Cervo.
They produced very well made to excellent hats until 2016, now, unfortunatly they are in stand by.
So, your Cervo is an historical one, take note that Cappellificio Cervo was a cooperative of workers.
