I try to buy locally when I can, but at the very least, I support individual craftsmen around the country. As a maker of leather goods myself, it's really important to persuade people how much more quality they can get for their money by buying from an individual maker.

Some great shots here! It makes me want to actually get out somewhere where I have an occasion to wear my hat.

This makes good sense since I doubt the US market would have sufficient hides to meet demand even within this country. At least not without prices well over 15/ sq ft.

I really like that Russian pack. It seems like it'd have some good versatility to it.
