    Yes, my "Synergy" Ventile Parka has weathered many mountain storms in the last forty years. I've never thought of going Goretex..My Helly Hanson bottoms complement my wet weather gear. Expensive at the time but has never failed me. Still looks great, too..A little worn around the pockets...
