Thanks for the very dapper postings. I wore white trousers with matching vest and jacket to a garden party on the day of the Preakness (May 18, I think) and got rave reviews from the ladies present.
White bucks work well but so do spectator shoes and consider adding a summer hat.

I love pocket watches. I have 5. One is a valuable antique and the others are not.
Accompanying the watches are a variety of chains made to be worn with vests and a couple that go into trouser pockets...
What a great store Marty M! I particularly like placing the fishing lures in the lapels. Sans hooks I hope. I wish that I lived in Minnesota.......well, during summer. I have always hoped to be able to find a clothier with an enthusiasm for the 1930s.
