yeah, that's a tough one... looks like scars from the animal.. I don't think the leather is gonna tear there, so if the jacket fits great, i think I'm keeping it
^^ I would condition if it was dry, as I feel they almost always return to the original pre-treated color after a time.

Its my opinion that high end high shirts and specifically T-shirts are a waste of money 99% of the time.. ive had a bunch from a lot of the well known brands and can say that a random shirt from Target, Uniqlo or just a plain white T is just as good and often more wearable than stuff for $100...

I would say the instep area is ( at least when new) very tight. I had continued difficulty in getting my foot past the heel counter/shaft.. and in general the leather was really stiff.
I had to break down and buy this monster to make-em comfortable...
