I know not jackets related but the following may prove useful for those who are reanact RAF history.
I have 5 dated newspapers which are ideal for reading at dispersal whilst all you pilots out there are waiting to scramble.

Many thanks for your comments,I have only seen the boots on the LL website so it nice to hear your thoughts on the standard of workmanship of the
boots,however do you think they are worth the price of £385?

I have a split vote with the RAF museum of cosford ..brilliant museum which also had a great restoration centre attached and very friendly staff
followed by the FAA museum at Yeovilton...which is still on a operational station...both I have enjoyed working at.

Has anybody got a pair of the lewis leathers 1936 patern boots? Would like to hear any thoughts on them and if possible would like to see some photographs apart from the ones on the lewis leather site.

Hi, yes the lysander was very much underated and forgotten by most..as like most of westland aircraft sadly....to me I will always have a soft spot for the walrus flying boat followed by the sunderland.

Yes originals are becoming very hard to find..though some may say I have more chances of finding a pair of original boots than a 48 inch chest original Irvin.
But those original boots may not be wearable so this is why I am more looking for a replica pair of 1936 boots..not realy...
