I am going to have a look at my Hollywood patterns. They are one of my favorites as well. The seem to fit very well.

I have both the original and the repro of this pattern and I haven't decided which version to make. I have compared the pattern pieces for both versions and they are very different.

Beautiful work everyone. I moved last month to a much smaller place and still haven't got my sewing space in order ,but here are to things I made before the move. This was made for the evadress contest. It's made from Silk Dupioni which I think is a little stiff for the draping on the bodice...

Beautiful patterns Miss Sis. I too love 1930's McCalls patterns. I've had great look with them and the finished products alsways look like the pattern illustations. I have that simplicity pattern but mine is in poor shape. I don't think I've purchased a pattern since my last post except for one...

For a while I was unable to find any cute vintage dresses that fit me but I have been finding a great deal lately.

That cranberry colored dress is lovely Miss Golightly. I got some dance shoes and swing dance lessons.

Late 50's cotton dress with faux bolero. The only draw back is that i have to untie the front in order to zip it. I can't always get the bow to look right.

Beautiful finds everyone. I found both of these on etsy. I had the earrings in my favorites for months. So glad no one else got them. Now I just need the prefect lucite purse.

I call eveyone younger than me cute or adorable. Often it can mean pretty or hot even but cute is the word I use. Most of the people I use that word for are also funny or irreverant which I find cute also.
