I guess I come at things like this from a different perspective. I don't see any point in bothering a retailer about something unless I know it's a legitimate issue. I am concerned that this crease in my jacket has not gone away at all as the jacket has broken in over the past several months...

US. It's definitely possible customs got to it, they seem to open a lot of my international packages. I think it passed through Thurston before arriving at my place though, not sure whether they repackage jackets though or just ship the original box onwards.

Thanks Carrie, I may be misremembering how it arrived but I really thought it came folded in half down the center (along the spine). Regardless, the leather is creased down the middle of the back and has been since I received it so at some point during it's life before I received it the jacket...

I have a specific area of the floor I keep it in that's clean and out of the way. I may hang it eventually but figured the first year or so of breaking it in I would treat it rough and never hang it.

I have not been careful about water and it has no permanent spotting. It will spot up as it gets rained on, but it's always been fine after drying naturally.
