The first pic is probably the most color accurate. It looks the most purple under tungsten lights. Under florecent lights is looks a grey, plum. Here is a link to my photobucket page with more additional pics of the hat...

Thanks for the kind words, Mark! I appreciate it. This hat is one of the more unique ones I've come across. I've never seen a color quite like it. The pics just do not capture how deep, dark and alive the purple is. A more accurate color adjective might be plum. The perception really changes...
