You are spot on. I like the idea of dents. Money isn't really an issue in terms of finding something that should last me a long time. I liked the look of the Churchill mendelboaz suggested, but will take a look at the Dents too. Compromise, like you said, is key - I'd like a nice middle ground...
That's been my approach as well but have ruined a few cheaply made pairs. So looking for something durable and warm that will last ages, figured someone here must know!

Thank you!! It is Cuoio. In terms of sizing it's tagged an XXL. I'm usually an L (42-44) in US sizing, but then again, there is a rather thick shearling liner inside and I know Thedis usually run a bit on the tighter side.
