Foofoogal - I'm with Lauren and Allabout Eve. You should be able to date the union mark with a bit of googling. I have a few garments with similar marks and figured out they were mid to late 50s based on variations in the mark. If only I'd saved the link!

What a fantastic compliment!

I'm part way through the Decades of Style pattern. I didn't make a muslin (doh!) and have found the bodice to be absolutely enormous and the waist a tad tight. I really hope you have better luck!

Drappa - it's been a while since I've used jersey, but ditto what Lauren said - a ball point needle will help.

Lauren that pattern is fantastic! I love the sharp, triangular details on some 30s and early 40s garments.
